Before transferring to SDSU, he attended Dakota Wesleyan University where he played basketball his freshman year.
Because Dr. Williams is very passionate about basketball and still plays frequently, he understands the physical toll sports can have on the body. This is where his passion for chiropractic helps him and others maintain a healthy body in order to keep playing sports at a high level for as long as they can. His love for sports has led him to treat athletes competing in various events, such as the 2008 & 2009 AIDS Lifecycle, the S3 Supergirl, and some LG BMX and Motorcross events. Before joining the ISPI team, Dr. Williams practiced in Huntington Beach and Brea where he volunteered his time as a trainer and team doctor for Sonora and Brea Olinda high schools.
Dr. Williams also has a personal goal of one day setting up a non-profit organization that provides chiropractic care to people who do not have the means to afford the care otherwise. His inspiration for this goal came during chiropractic school when he took trips to treat individuals who could not readily receive chiropractic or medical care. Because these trips allowed him to see how important chiropractic is to people’s health, he feels everyone needs to receive chiropractic care regardless of their socioeconomic status.
